Jason Tourville is a husband, father, pastor, athlete, and author. He currently leads a thriving church, Shrewsbury Assembly, since January 2013, and has been a full-time minister with the Assemblies of God since graduation from Valley Forge Christian College in 1995, where he was a 1st-Team All-American basketball player. After ministering as a Youth Pastor in Delaware, he continued his education at Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, a MA in Counseling (MFT, LPC). He has served at a variety of churches in the Northeast, from mega-churches, to small start up churches. He is also launched a compassion outreach in Philadelphia in 2010.
Pastor Jason has been involved in many adventures, including a recent missions trip to Tanzania, in which he climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise fund for water wells. He has also written Discipleship Training materials to equip followers of Christ to reach their full potential. The courses include: “Starting Line,” “Training for the Prize,” “Stepping on to the Field,” and “Helping others Win.” He also co-authored, “Heir Together, a Pre-marital Preparation Course” with Dr. Thomas Keinath in Wayne, NJ.
He now lives Southern York County, PA with his wife Rene’ with their four kids (two boys and two girls) and a dog. He enjoys reading, all sports and has participated in a few triathlons, including finishing an Ironman 70.3.
